Walter M. Sanchez is committed to enhancing the quality of legal representation for all people accused of crimes in Louisiana. Mr. Sanchez served for many years as a Board Member of the Louisiana Public Defender Board, and also served on a committee of that Board that was charged with creating standards for the training of lawyers handling death penalty cases.
Since 1995, Walter M. Sanchez has been one of a select group of lawyers who have been certified in family law by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Sanchez frequently lectures before attorney groups and teaches trial advocacy techniques at Louisiana State University Law Center.
