A 19-year-old Louisiana man is in custody following an alleged armed robbery on Nov. 28 after being identified in a photo lineup. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. in an apartment parking lot. The man is one of two believed to have been involved.

A 25-year-old woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Baton Rouge on Dec. 8. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the defendant was a passenger in a car pulled over for failing to use a turn signal.

2 women face drug charges after police chase

An attempted traffic stop in Louisiana ended with two women receiving several drug charges. The incident began when police officers allegedly spotted a vehicle that was being driven recklessly around Galliano. When the officers attempted to stop the car at around 7 p.m., the driver allegedly led them on a chase.

Teacher accused of sex crime requests change in house arrest

A 32-year-old Louisiana teacher who was accused of being sexually involved with a 16-year-old student requested that the terms of her house arrest be reduced on Nov. 19. The woman was originally released from custody on a $200,000 bond; however, she was required to remain at home until her next court appearance.
