Patricia loves to travel. She was born in Switzerland before moving with her family (her Swiss father and Peruvian mother) to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as a child. She travels often internationally to visit family and friends. Patricia's first language was Spanish. She speaks English, some French and German.

Patricia graduated from Louisiana State University, magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. While there, she enjoyed being a part of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She obtained her law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. There she earned CALI awards (for the highest scoring student) in Constitutional Law, Immigration Law, and Legal Ethics & Professionalism.

Patricia is passionate about community involvement. In 2014, she received the Baton Rouge Association of Women Attorney's Scholarship for her work on the CASA Board of Directors and the founding of the Young Professionals' Baton Rouge chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Patricia came to Lake Charles after graduation and was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney for Calcasieu Parish. While there, she worked in the Criminal Misdemeanor Section and was later promoted to handle the Domestic Violence Section for all felonies and misdemeanors.

After working at the District Attorney's office, Patricia entered private practice, working with clients on Family Law, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury matters.

She is serving a 2-year term as a board member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association's Young Attorney's Section.

Patricia resides in Sulphur, Louisiana, with her daughter and significant other. She plays on a Lake Charles tennis team and loves spending time outdoors and watching TED talks.
