Three people in Louisiana were arrested after law enforcement executed their search warrant on Aug. 22. A 36-year-old woman and 37-year-old man were arrested at the residence listed on the warrant. Later on, a 28-year-old male resident was apprehended nearby and was arrested as well. The execution of the search warrant came after a month-long investigation spurred by locals calling with concerns about drug activity in the area. Police claim to have found other items in the house as well. Officers say they recovered a firearm that was possibly stolen and more drug paraphernalia from the second residence that was searched. The investigation into the drug activity is still ongoing, and police expect to make more arrests in the future.

The 28-year-old male suspect was arrested for an outstanding warrant from LA Probation and Parole as well as a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia. The 36-year-old female suspect was charged with possession of oxycodone, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The 37-year-old male was charged with possession of a legend drug. All three suspects were booked into Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. They benefit from seeking defense counsel as soon as possible.
