Law enforcement officers continue to fight the drug crisis in Louisiana. A recent bust in northeast Louisiana, in West Carroll Parish, is a new installment in that effort. Two men were arrested in the bust on suspicion of dealing illegal substances and face multiple charges, including drug charges.
The bust on the home allegedly yielded a significant amount of illegal drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana. In addition to the drugs, weapons and a large amount of money were also said to have been seized. The police report also indicated that digital scales and two motor vehicles were present at the location.
The two men apprehended in the course of the incident are both facing felony drug charges. One of the two gentleman is facing charges for illegal weapons possession, obstruction of justice and conspiracy in addition to the drug charges. The other gentleman is accused of intent to distribute and conspiracy.
